Lyndy Burnham

Lyndy’s passion for SCUBA diving began at age 10 and deepened during his university studies in coastal geology and oceanography, when he earned his first certifications. He went on to complete his instructor training at PADI International College in California. Over the following decade, Lyndy worked in dive retail and instruction in New England, earning more than 20 specialty instructor certifications.

As founder of Professional Diving Education and a PADI Course Director, Medic First Aid Instructor Trainer and Master Instructor, Lyndy traveled extensively, conducting Instructor Development Courses and advanced training programs throughout the U.S. and internationally.

Lyndy has been an active member of the Blue Green Expeditions team for many years, participating in and leading trips to Mt. Everest Base Camp, Mount Kilimanjaro, and safaris in Africa, as well as dive and expedition travel to Greece, Mexico, Iceland, Cuba, Socorro, the Sea of Cortez, Saudi Arabia, Svalbard, Greenland, Antarctica, Croatia, St. Lucia, and the Red Sea.

Based in southern New Hampshire, Lyndy continues to guide and travel widely while also serving as Director of Business Operations for Ovation Communication, a professional speaker training firm. He remains an avid diver, hiker, sailor, and amateur radio operator (N1CIO).
