If you were a part of the 2024 trip and participated in the Fjord Phyto program co-hosted by Shalyn Potter and Erica Moulton you’ll be happy to know that we are all still in touch. Shay Potter and Dr Allison Cusick will have their own updates to share, but Erica would like to share that through her non-profit work at the Center for Open Exploration (C4OE) they have been able to fund plankton models for several of the Fjord Phyto leads, making plankton even a little more hands-on than just polar sampling.
